Inspired Show Homes Ltd

View from the lane

Hi all

This is Maria, Creative Director for Inspired Show Homes, Ltd. We were called by Suzanne a few weeks ago to take a look at an exciting development in Abergele, North Wales.  We have been creating beautiful Show Homes for all kinds of developers and private clients for many years, but even I was absolutely captivated by the fabulous Gate House and Manor House that will form a large part of this exclusive gated development.

We hail from Derby and found the trip over to North Wales a piece of cake!  It’s situated only a few minutes drive from the M56 so is perfect for commuting to Chester, Manchester or even Liverpool.  Once you turn off into Abergele you feel as if you are already in the heart of the countryside in a lovely small community and as you start to venture out towards the coast, you come upon the beautiful Gatehouse with its very own turreted staircase to boot!  This is going to be a very exclusive development with stunning views over the adjacent countryside and over to the sea.  The Gate House is almost ready to go and the once unloved Manor House itself will be soon transformed into fabulous Town Houses.  A select few large new build houses will then complete the whole development.

It was great to meet Suzanne and chat about all of the wonderful possibilities for the interior of the Gate House – not least of all, the inclusion of an amazing spiral crystal light cascading down the centre of the staircase!  We feel very humble and proud to have been invited by Suzanne and her team to partner with them and we are looking forward very much to turning the Gate House into a Show Piece for the whole Development.  If the attention to detail in the rest of the property is anything to go by, this should be very easy to achieve.  I will, of course, be sharing with you our progress (as well as some tricks of the trade) as we progress, but so far we have chosen a beautiful high gloss cream kitchen, stylish granite worktops, oak flooring and a warm but sophisticated colour scheme of gold, cream and black...........watch this space......

Kind regards

Maria

Whenever I visit our development at Gainsborough Park I am blown away by the stunning scenery. Yesterday was no exception. It was a beautiful day and as I cruised down the A55 the sun was blazing down and on the horizon in front of me were the snowy peaks of Snowdonia. Just breathtaking!

St George Parish Church
Being thirty minutes early for my appointment I took the scenic route up through the village of St George. With its pretty parish church, white cottages, and the local inn, it is truly picturesque. The views are magnificent and there has been a parish church at St. George for many centuries. It was first mentioned in the Norwich Taxation of 1254.The current church being built in 1893.

Kinmel Arms

I would have liked to visit The Kinmel Arms, a local watering hole and a place to stay overnight, which I have been told has excellent food and comfortable accommodation... Next time I will drop in.

The Gate House at Gainsborough Park is near to completion. Final decisions will be made this week on which company has be awarded the contract to furnish the house as a show home. The design of the kitchen has been decided and the flooring chosen. Watch out for my blog next week when I review the designs and post a selection of images.

The Gate House

I am so excited that we are near to completing the gate house at Gainsborough Park. Currently, I am in the process of finalising the flooring and kitchen design. Once this is completed a decision will be made on which show house designer will be asked to dress the house. It is going to be stunning and will represent the high quality, fine design and sheer luxury which will follow throughout this development. As soon as I have the gate house professionally photographed I will post them for you all to see.

Gainsborough House
The next step now is the Manor house. Work will begin next week on the conversion of this grand grade II listed building. Six townhouses will soon sit within the walls of this spendid house. All of the original external features of the house will be restored, making the house as grand from the outside as it was when it was first built. The six town houses, with their own exclusive entrances, will be attractive, quality homes offering the convenience and luxury of modern life.

As well as being marketed here by Abergo Ltd, our local agent Peter Large Estates has been appointed and despite being in the early stages of development, both the gatehouse and the
townhouses have already received strong enquires.
